Hallett Oils Ltd specialise in offering products in quantities that are required by the user from small bottles for Modellers to large quantities for the Preserved Railways, Main Line Operators and Traction Engine Enthusiasts. Hallett Oils Ltd have traditionally supplied specialist products to industry and following the cessation of manufacture of Steam products by one of the Major Oil Companies, were approached by a well know Locomotive operator who had heard that we manufactured Steam Oils, albeit on a small scale and asked us to supply Cylinder Oils and Bearing Oils for their fleet.

The resulting products were so successful in main line operation that our reputation began to grow and we are delighted to say that the majority of our business has been gained purely on recommendation.

We pride ourselves in listening to what our customers require and find that they are dissatisfied with making do with incorrect oil grades which can cause unnecessary damage and wear but are sourcing the correct products. With our wealth of experience and knowledge of engineering and lubricating products we will endeavor to provide you with the advise and products that you require.

A Lubrication trouble shooting service is offered free of charge to assess problematic areas and advise as to the correct usage of products to obtain best results from the Lubricant and if required, Lubricants formulated for special  needs. A full range of dispensing equipment is available from a grease nipple to a measure to barrel stand.

On 14th January 2011, Hallett Oils Ltd of Wolverhampton was acquired by Caldo Oils Ltd.

Caldo, as a family owned and run company, are determined to continue with the high quality of both product and service that Hallett Oils customers have been used to receiving. Richard Hallett is staying on the team to help particularly with any technical queries so it is busines as usual and Richard assures all of his customers that his personal attention will be maintained. We would like to take this opportunity to confirm that all the specialist blends that Hallett Oils have developed will remain unchanged, the blend formulas, ingredients and even the blending vessel remain as previously, no changes will be made to any grades.
