SO1000CTRO oil has been manufactured with Sentinel and Stanley vehicles in mind using the highest quality materials. The technology used in this product provides outstanding resistance to wear, corrosion, and oxidation and leaves a protective film in the cylinders and valves after steaming.
Hallett Oils Ltd were contacted following recommendation, by an Owner of a Sentinel Steam Lorry experiencing lack of correct lubrication in the Cylinders. The vehicle was not performing at it's best and clearly was showing signs of poor Lubrication particularly after standing between runs. We supplied our SCO1000CTRO and can now report that the vehicle runs smoothly and retains a protective lubrication film even after standing over the Winter period.

In field tests with an “S” Type, the product has shown the ability to separate an amount of 2pints of water after two hours standing from a run. After a “cold” stand for weeks, a further 3 pints of water was removed before steaming.
Sentinel Crankcase Oil is recommended solely for use in the sumps of Sentinel Steam Engines.
